The bathrooms in the loops were nice, clean and conveniently located. We didn't have any littles with us this time, but the playgrounds looked very cool! A few of the newer style playgrounds, with some old school adult-size swings, too! The staff we encountered were all very helpful and friendly, too

Beach is petty small but great playgrounds throughout. There is plenty of room to spread out or play games near the water. Lots of picnic tables and grills. Parking is not usually an issue. Campsites are a decent size, bathroom are generally impressively clean.

We were very impressed with this park! Went in early October, so the beach was closed, but the whole beach area was very nice with lots of room for picnicing, etc. We were happy with our campsite in Twin Fawn loop, and were thinking as we walked around and checked out the other loops that if we had ended up with any of the other sites, we didn't see one we would have been too disappointed in (we did it "blind" via Reserve America and had never been here). All good sized, lots of greenery, and none that had too wet spots that we saw.

We are tent campers and this campground is definitely geared more towards the RV and Boat crowd, but despite that, we found the campground quiet with large sites. We took a nice little hike down to the beach and back via the trail that had a small little cemetery. The playgrounds are great if you have kids (or the young at heart) and it is conveniently located close to wineries and lovely small towns.

Overall, a neat little park that I can't believe we had never been to. $19 per night is a steal as far as I'm concerned! We'll be back!

My husband and I love the campsites at this park, they are the most comfortable sites we've ever been to so far. We love how the sites are completely covered in grass and how each site is separated by tall greenery. We also like the trails, and I've never seen so many chipmunks in one place, they are so cute. So far we don't want to camp anywhere else. We've told our family and friends about it and have invited them to camp along with us. We're hoping some sites become available next weekend so we can come back this year.

Any kind of water sport that you could think of this is the place to be. Camping is perfect bathrooms are clean and quiet time is very peaceful. The nights are beautiful especially when you got your campfire going and

We also had someone bring a boat for the day, and the slips that are available down at the boat launch would be very convenient for anyone camping for a weekend or longer with a boat. The lake itself is beautiful to tool around, as well. We didn't get a chance to check out the trails people mentioned, but we did see where two of them headed down towards the lake from Twin Fawn loop. Next time! :)
